UX Designer / User Experience Specialist

Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled UX Designer / User Experience Specialist to support the IT Program with user-centered design and journey mapping activities. This role is ideal for a candidate with a proven track record in leading UX design for corporate web applications and a passion for creating intuitive, accessible, and impactful user experiences. The ideal candidate will bring strategic UX thinking, hands-on design execution, and a strong foundation in industry best practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead user-centered design efforts for IT Program initiatives
- Develop UX strategies and approaches aligned with project goals
- Conduct and document user journey mapping and persona development
- Perform heuristic evaluations and usability analysis
- Create low and high-fidelity mockups and interactive wireframes using Figma
- Plan and facilitate in-person user testing and feedback sessions
- Provide expert guidance on accessibility standards and inclusive design
- Offer industry best practices and design advisory services to project teams
- Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, stakeholders, and project managers
- Support other UX-related tasks and projects as assigned by the IT Program
Qualifications
Mandatory -UX Certification from a recognized institution
Required Experience & Skills:
- Proven experience as a UX Lead Designer or User Experience Specialist
- Demonstrated success designing UX for corporate software and web applications
- Proficient in Figma for creating wireframes and prototypes
- Strong background in UX strategy, journey mapping, and persona development
- Hands-on experience with heuristic analysis and customer testing
- Solid understanding of accessibility guidelines (e.g., WCAG compliance)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
