Description
Tasks and Responsibilities
Responsible for conducting work in a manner that meets the “Nobody gets hurt” safety values in all activities. Understands and complies with terminal SSHE (security, safety, health & environmental) and product quality policies. Conducts day-to-day business in accordance with and in compliance with IOL policies in the areas of operations integrity, human resources, product quality, business controls and environmental regulations. Maintains familiarity with CFO work plans, lifesaving actions, and applicable T1BPs. Pursues operational excellence in completion of work/task execution, following the prescribed procedures in the appropriate operations manual, and suggest improvements if needed within the functions of rail car product receipt. Performs TRT/SAP maintenance assignments including closure documentation. Actively participates in Health and Safety Meetings. Actively participates in Personnel Safety Management System (PSMS) to eliminate fatalities and life altering injuries (LAI) and deliver industry leading safety performance. Writes work permits as requested. Provides initial response to emergency incidents at the terminal, including upline notifications. Other tasks to benefit to terminal operations as aligned with supervisor. Fosters culture within team that meets intent of corporate vision Company culture. IOCO railcar operations are handled according to procedures (PDM) and good practice. Oversees the activities of any contractors on site including the issuing of daily work permits and contractor safety related to their area of responsibility. Ensures that Site and facilities are secure via completion of daily site inspection. Daily work direction from Process Lead. Minimum direct daily supervision. Contractor safety oversite as requested
Skills and Qualifications
Grade 12 – 4 years’ experience in refining or distribution
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, One Note), TDG, WHMIS Forklift, Boat operations
