Database Administrator I

Pantheon is seeking a Database Administrator I for our major Oil and Gas client.

Location – Cold Lake

Rate: $55/hr. 

Contract: 12 months  

Rate: $55 /hr.

• Provide Server Database Administration support for various server database environments including Critical applications.
• Responsibilities include backup and recovery, space monitoring, reorganizations, performance tuning, troubleshooting, version upgrades, and object maintenance.
• Candidate will play an integral role in the implementation of database development, acceptance, and production environments across the globe, working closely with multiple Infrastructure teams.
• Ongoing production support of existing databases is the primary role.
  This position level would typically include junior Database Administrator performing mostly basic tasks of database development. Prior extensive experience is not required.

Skills And Qualifications

• Previous experience as an IT professional and as a Server Database Administrator, SQL, database knowledge, data structure, analytical skills preferred.

Robotics Experience required.
