Your technical expertise, experience, and business acumen play a critical role in helping the organization ensure Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability of its data, and integrates stronger security protocols in an increasingly complex threat landscape.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Experience with network security architecture and implementation
- Familiar with technologies such as IPS, IDS systems, firewall virtualization, VPN concentrators, DMVPN, certificate handling, encryption methods, NAT (Network Address Translation), DMZ
- Solid experience with CISCO and Juniper technologies (routing, switching, WAN/LAN protocols, Wireless etc.)
- Familiar with medium and large enterprise networks
- Familiar with optimization and performance with focus on capacity planning, performance monitoring and automation CCNP- Routing & Switching and CCNP-Security certification will be an added advantage
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Provide design, implementation and support internal and external control points firewall/IPS, including monitoring, annual hardware and software refresh budgetary estimates and expansion or upgrade of existing infrastructure.
- Provide design, implementation and support for routers, switches, and controllers, including monitoring, annual hardware and software refresh budgetary estimates and expansion or upgrade of existing infrastructure.
- Participate in Security and Control related tasks such as audit and network infrastructure improvements
- Perform risk assessment on network connectivity and hardware/software assessment prior to rolling out new network devices.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma / Bachelor Degree or relevant work experience.
