Bilingual Systems Administrator

Pantheon is hiring for a large governmental organization. We are looking for a System Administrator to maintain, upgrade and manage software, hardware, and networks. Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users.FUNCTIONS
- Evaluate and analyze business requirements, technology environment, and technology choices to determine alternative solutions that meet the needs.
- Lead the technical evaluation of selected solutions.
- Meet with decision makers, system owners and end users to define technology requirements and identify and resolve related issues.
- Provide support for the use of network and network interconnect components as well as connections to the Internet and peripherals.
- Oversee the control and sharing of database resources and services.
- Develop advanced data retrieval and loading methods with Microsoft SQL as well as queries and reports as needed.
- Provide feedback, advice and guidance in the development of project level system architecture.
- Conduct technical research for system upgrades to determine feasibility, cost, timeframe and compatibility.
