Description:

Perform lead coordination of IT infrastructure operations at client sites in Fort McMurray, AB. This role will be dealing with approx. 5000 PC users with telecom, network, voice, server and storage equipment predominantly located at Mildred Lake site. Key Responsibilities will include:

Change control, problem management, escalations, project delivery and business engagement.
Will work local and remote teams to maintain reliability, implement changes and drive improvements.
Support business in an Enterprise environment where our clients expect the highest level of safety diligence, working with remote teams to resolve issues.
Troubleshoot IT issues assist with incident resolution.
Provide overall IT infrastructure Projects coordination, which involves multiple local and global groups to complete assignments and projects.
Perform changes according to change management best practices.
Create and review documentation/process as required (i.e. Transition documents from Project to Steady Operations state).
On call a possibility.
Travel may be required
Primary skill set:

- PC, Server, SAN experience: installing and cabling servers, troubleshooting, and asset management

- Network infrastructure experience: Cisco and Juniper routers and switches experience

- Data Center operations- Problem management and process skills

- Excellent analytical, problem solving and coordination skills - Knowledge of ITSM is a benefit

- Experience in IT infrastructure implementations, industrial site operations, and working with diverse global teams is an asset.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment to accomplish organizational goals

- Strong interpersonal, listening, verbal and written communication skills

- Motivated and driven, able to work with minimum supervision

Description of Services
Data Architect provides architectural and technical expertise, leadership, project management and services related to data management to improve the quality, security, effectiveness and value of data and information.

Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:
ò Provide advice and consulting services regarding data management strategies, data architecture, and ministry data.
ò Consult with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
ò Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and estimates pertaining to architectural deployment and services delivery.
ò Assist in developing task lists and resource assignments within the context of architectural planning.
